Weekly College Football Picks – Week 13: November 26, 2011

Weekly College Football Picks – Week 13: November 26, 2011

Last week, I took a bye week from weekly college football picks so that I could go on an excursion with some old college buddies up in the mountains of Virginia.

We broke free of all technology and just enjoyed the outdoors.  Though cold (our first night of camping dropped to 12 degreees), we had a great time and even climbed Mount Rogers – the highest peak in the State of Virginia.

Today’s photo is me kissing a plaque up at the highest point on the mountain.

Now back to football…

In week 11, I finished up at 8-4 and am now at 94-43 for the year with a correct pick percentage of 68.7%.   Here are my 12 picks for week 13:

Georgia over GEORGIA TECH
Michigan St. over NORTHWESTERN
MICHIGAN over Ohio St.
Tennessee over KENTUCKY
Virginia Tech over VIRGINIA
WISCONSIN over Penn St.
Alabama over AUBURN
Florida St. over FLORIDA
BAYLOR over Texas Tech
SOUTH CAROLINA over Clemson
STANFORD over Notre Dame
USC over UCLA

Notes:  Home teams are shown in CAPs

I didn’t get to pick the Aggie game this week since we played on Thanksgiving Day.  It was a heartbreaking game in that it is the last game between Texas A&M and tu for at least the near term future as we are no longer scheduled to play each other after Texas A&M moves to the nation’s premier college football  conference, the Southeastern Conference in 2012.
